Call Of Duty Cold War

How does this call of duty hold up?

This is the latest Call Of Duty game set after the events of Black Ops 1 and before the events of Black Ops 2. It is set in 1984 during the events of the Cold War where there was a conflict between the USA and Russia. This has a campaign, multiplayer where the player goes online against different players world wide and an extra game mode ‘Zombies’ where the player goes to different maps to survive to the highest round that they can.

What I like about this game is that I like the time period that the game is set. As it is set during the 1980’s, the music and aesthetics of the game are retro so there are cars and weapons that fit the time period that it is set in. Another thing I like about the game is the zombies mode, since I started playing this franchise, zombies has been an integral mode to COD since its first ever debut in World At War in 2007. This extra game mode consists of surviving through hordes of the undead to progress through the handcrafted story of the world. The story links with other maps that have been produced over the years and links with other games in the franchise for a continuation of the story. The main final thing that I like about this game is that it is easy for the player to pick up and go, what I mean by this is that the controls aren’t hard for the player to figure out and the objectives aren’t to difficult so anyone will know what they are doing. Cold War is an ever evolving game which over the months will add new seasons for the players to play through and collect new rewards available for the recently introduced battle pass. The battle pass is a system in which the player buys to then earn tiers with each game they play. Each tier consists of new things that can be unlocked such as weapons, skins, and weapon charms in order to allow fo more customisation. These reset every season however so the user will have 55 days to complete the battle pass before it moves onto the next season of content. All the new maps and weapons are free to the game as well which means the players will not have to spend £40 on a season pass to unlock new maps like they used to for the old games which is more user friendly and player focused.
